Incorporating a variation of the well­ proven, modified Browning link­less short recoil system of operation, the VP Series striker fired design ensures a consistent trigger pull weight from the first shot to the last.

Experience gained by H&K engineers with the P30 hammer-fired pistol had a direct influence on the design of the VP9, but the VP9 breaks new ground with its integration of a unique striker firing system with an enhanced H&K “light pull” trigger.
